Amy Newell

Provisional Psychologist

Amy is a provisional psychologist who earned her Master of Professional Psychology from Federation University.

She is passionate about working with individuals of all ages and has gained valuable experience with young children across various fields and multiple professions.

Amy works with individuals experiencing a range of challenges including but not limited to; emotion regulation difficulties, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, adjustment disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders, stress management, self-esteem, grief and loss. Amy is also interested in working with individuals with sleep disorders.

Amy is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and aims to provide a calm and comfortable space for individuals to facilitate personal growth and self-compassion. She focuses on building strong therapeutic relationships to foster trust and openness. She believes in tailoring her therapeutic techniques to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that her clients feel heard and supported throughout their journey.
