Brooke Walker

Psychologist

Brooke is a General Psychologist who completed her Master of Professional Psychology at Victoria University. Brooke has worked with children, adolescents and adults in community mental health, school settings, disability, and specialist services.

Brooke has experience working with children and adolescents with emotion dysregulation, behavioural difficulties, anxiety, and depression, including those with ASD, ADHD, and intellectual impairments. Further, Brooke has experience working across the lifespan with individuals experiencing social anxiety as well as medication dependencies.

Brooke practises from a person-centred approach and aims to create a friendly and non-judgmental space. She believes in drawing on and developing clients’ strengths and coping strategies. Brooke seeks to provide an open and collaborative space where clients can develop a deeper self-understanding and foster greater self-acceptance.

Brooke is trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Schema Therapy and EMDR Therapy.

Wednesdays: 10:00am – 5:30pm
