Bryony is a General Psychologist who completed her Master of Professional Psychology at the Institute for Social Neuroscience (ISN). Bryony has an interest in working with children, adolescents and adults who are experiencing a range of difficulties including mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, stress and anger management, emotional dysregulation, drug and alcohol misuse, neurodevelopmental disorders, behavioural difficulties, trauma-related disorders, and personality disorders. Bryony has worked with clients across the lifespan in community mental health, university settings and crisis services.
Bryony is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which is an evidence-based therapy that aims to bring awareness to our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to assist clients to reach their therapeutic goals. Bryony’s approach is to assist her clients to experience a non-judgemental space for inclusivity and openness to enable exploration of presenting difficulties and to achieve progress towards the clients set treatment goals.
Bryony aims to engage with clients authentically and collaboratively, offering an empathetic, calm, and respectful therapeutic approach. She encourages self-awareness, self-understanding, and self-motivation. She aims to ensure that the treatment modalities offered are responsive to the clients needs and goals.
