Psychologist (Clinical Registrar)
Chanel is a General Psychologist and Clinical Registrar who completed her Master of Clinical Psychology degree at The University of Sydney. She has experience working with young and adult clients from multiple ethnicities, religions and LGBTIQA+ communities.
Chanel has worked in private clinics, university settings, and correctional facilities. She has an interest in supporting individuals facing a variety of challenges, including Anxiety Disorders, Depression Disorders, Eating Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, anger management difficulties and grief.
Chanel takes a warm, client-centered approach, valuing each person’s unique experiences and challenges. She recognises the importance of developmental influences and the biopsychosocial factors that shape mental health across the lifespan, ensuring a compassionate and holistic approach to care.
Chanel tailors therapy to each client’s unique needs, drawing from a range of evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Schema Therapy, among others.
