Erin Fitzpatrick
Psychologist
Erin completed her Master of Applied Psychology (Community) at Victoria University. She has worked with individuals and groups across the lifespan in private practice, community mental health, and school settings.
Erin utilises an evidence-based approach to her work with children, adolescents, and adults in group settings. Her work with groups has often focused on empowering clients in social contexts and she has effectively and compassionately collaborated with people from many walks of life. Erin’s group work centres on lived experience and people’s self-expertise. She believes group work should be a collaborative, empowering and therapeutic experience, and she aims to meet clients where they are.
She works within an ecological framework to provide holistic support and understanding, while assisting people identify and utilise their strengths to overcome challenges and improve wellbeing.
Erin uses her knowledge of cognitive-behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness, and, in her work with children, integrated play therapy to tailor individual and group work to client needs.
