Laura Price

Provisional Psychologist

Laura is a Provisional Psychologist who works with clients of all ages. Laura works from a diverse range of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and Play Therapy, which makes her well-equipped to address the unique needs of her clients.

Laura holds a Master’s Degree of Professional Psychology, and has had previous work experience as a counsellor/case manager in which she has supported clients with the following challenges: Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Complex PTSD, Attachment Disturbance, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, Family Conflict, Custody Issues, Stress, Anxiety, Depression, and Personality Disorders.

Laura’s primary area of interest and passion lies in working with clients who have PTSD and trauma backgrounds. Laura is committed to expanding her skill set and aspires to become a certified EMDR Practitioner.

With a warm and non-judgmental approach, Laura adopts a biopsychosocial collaborative approach to ensure that her clients’ therapeutic goals are heard and obtained.
