Rachel Guthrie

Psychologist (Clinical Registrar)

Rachel works with clients across the lifespan including children, adolescents, and adults with a range of presentations including but not limited to mood and anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, behavioural difficulties, drug and alcohol concerns, grief and loss, and trauma-related disorders.

Rachel has worked with clients across the lifespan in community mental health/drug and alcohol services and university settings. She has a special interest in working with children, adolescents, and their families to assist with behavioural concerns, mood and anxiety disorders and grief related presentations.

Rachel draws on a range of treatment modalities and caters these to her clients needs and presenting problems including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectal Behavioural Therapy. Rachel is trained and has practiced in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which is an evidence-based therapy that aims to bring awareness to our thoughts, feelings, and behaviours to assist clients to reach their therapeutic goals.

Master of Professional Psychology

Bachelor of Health Science (Psychology)

Graduate Diploma of Psychology

Mondays: 10:00am – 6:00pm

Tuesdays: 8:30am – 4:30pm

Wednesdays: 8:30am – 4:30pm
