Ruvi is a General Psychologist who works with individuals across the lifespan, including children, adolescents and adults, with various mental health challenges. She strives to provide evidence-based, trauma-informed, and holistic treatment in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Ruvi has extensive experience working with clients with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disability, anxiety, depression, behavioural difficulties, grief and loss, emotion regulation issues, OCD, PTSD, and trauma-related disorders. Additionally, Ruvi supports individuals experiencing a range of challenges, including grief, loss, life transitions, relationship difficulties, self-esteem concerns, gender dysphoria and sleep difficulties.
With a background in Positive Behaviour Support under the NDIS, Ruvi has worked with individuals of all ages, including those with intellectual and/or cognitive disabilities, to address complex behaviours of concern. She values collaborative relationships with families and allied health professionals to provide person-centred care.
Ruvi tailors therapeutic approaches to meet her clients’ needs and goals, drawing on modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectal Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Schema Therapy. With empathy and compassion, Ruvi works with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, placing a strong focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship. She helps clients explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, while fostering their growth toward living in alignment with their values and achieving their goals.
