Sarah Rooke

Psychologist

Sarah is a registered psychologist who has completed a Master of Education Psychology with the University of Melbourne. Her specialist education and training has evolved her skills in assessments and interventions that identify and support atypical development and learning disorders.

Sarah has experience working with children, adolescents and adults from various backgrounds with different concerns, such as stress, grief, anxiety, depression, gender dysphoria, relationship issues, neurodivergence and learning difficulties.

Sarah uses a variety of counselling and intervention methods, such as cognitive behaviour therapy and schema therapy to nurture and empower her clients. Sarah is trained in the Early Start Denver Model to support children with developmental delay and Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Qualifications

Master of Educational Psychology from the University of Melbourne

Bachelor Degree of Psychology Honours from Swinburne University of Technology

Member of the APS College of Educational and Developmental Psychologists

Availibility

Mondays: 10:00am – 6:00pm (assessments only)

Tuesdays: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Wednesdays: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Thursdays: 9:00am – 5:00pm

Fridays: 8:00am – 4:00pm
